![]() Maryknoll’s task is to share God’s word throughout the world, especially among the poor in places where the Church is unknown or in great need. The Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers minister in 23 countries in Asia, Latin America, and Africa. In addition, he will be happy to talk with anyone interested in doing a mission trip or short-term volunteer work in one of Maryknoll’s missions. Romane will be happy to speak with any parishioners who might be interested in doing overseas mission work as a Maryknoll Lay Missioner. Those who wish, will be invited to sign up for the Maryknoll Magazine, which is available in English or Spanish. Romane has traveled to Maryknoll missions in Cambodia and Tanzania. He will give us an opportunity to take part in the vital work of bringing Christ’s name and Christ’s message to all people. Many Ascension School alumni have gone on to great success, not only in high school and college but also in a variety of professions and walks of life.
